Lincoln Community Diagnostic Centre (Lincoln CDC)
The Lincoln Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is a state-of-the-art medical facility located on Beevor Street within the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park. Officially opened in December 2024, the £23 million centre was developed to provide a wide range of NHS diagnostic services in a community setting, helping to reduce pressure on local hospitals and improve patient access to essential tests and scans.
The Lincoln CDC offers a comprehensive suite of diagnostic services, including:
- MRI and CT scanning
- Non-obstetric ultrasound
- X-ray services
- Echocardiograms
- Physiological testing, such as blood tests, ECGs, spirometry, and FeNO testing
The centre operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, ensuring flexible access for patients. It is a collaborative initiative between United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) and the Heart of Lincoln Medical Group (HOLMG), designed to streamline diagnostic pathways and enhance the patient experience.
