Our Care Support Administrator team brings together our administration and secretarial services into one dedicated team working behind the scenes to support patient care and keep the practice running smoothly.

The team is responsible for handling all incoming correspondence, ensuring that patient documents are accurately and promptly added to medical records, and recording any relevant clinical and administrative information. They also manage requests for access to medical records, including subject access requests, legal reports and private medical examinations, and provide vital administrative support to clinicians for chronic disease management and screening services. Alongside this, the team oversees paper medical records while actively working towards a fully digital patient record system.

Care Support Administrators also handle all referrals and related queries, including both hospital and community services, ensuring information is processed efficiently and accurately. They support the management of clinics and undertake associated administrative tasks for GPwSI (GPs with Special Interests) services, such as gynaecology clinics, as well as processing insurance and medical reports.

Our team consists of Leigh, Melissa, Helen M, Fiona, Louise, Lynn, Abbie, Katrina, Janet and Helen W, who work collaboratively to ensure patients and clinicians are supported every step of the way.

We are a Training Practice, meaning we always have several GP Trainee’s working closely with our Doctors. A GP Trainee is a qualified Doctor who will become a GP through a period of training in hospital and in General Practice. GP Trainee’s can spend between 6 months to a year with our Practice depending on where they are in their training, before they move onto their next placement and we introduce a new group of GP Trainee’s.
